New Broker Referral Program
Maryland Health Connection, in cooperation with the professional associations of insurance agents and brokers, has established a referral network intended to offer assistance from authorized brokers. If you would like the services of a local independent broker, call 1-877-304-9934 (or 410-268-6877). You will be given the contact information for a local broker who can assist you.

The 2013 Maryland Health Connection Open Enrollment for Private Insurance Coverage period is now closed. The 2014 Open Enrollment period begins November 15, 2014. Medicaid enrollment is open all year. If you experience a life change event such as loss of income, marriage, divorce, or a new baby, you may be eligible for a special enrollment period.
Consumers Who Attempted Enrollment by March 31
If you attempted to enroll online or spoke with a consumer support representative for coverage by March 31, you can visit the website to enroll by April 18, 2014. If you have not previously attempted to enroll online, starting the process on our website is the fastest way to get coverage. If you have started an application online, but encountered difficulty, you can get help in person or by phone.
If you called the 1-800 hotline and registered by March 31, you will receive a call back from a consumer assistance representative who will be able to help you enroll. You also can visit www.MarylandHealthConnection.gov and continue your application to enroll before April 18, 2014.
Please note, the online marketplace will be unavailable 12-12:15 p.m. daily and occasionally at other times as we conduct maintenance and test improvements in performance.
